Why would anyone ever use tele-specific bindings when they could just get an AT binding and ski it with the heel released?

ever try tele'ing on AT gear? Different pivot point. It can be done, but the pivot for tele is usually a lot further back than the pivot for AT (read ball of foot versus in front of the toes)

Point taken. Better to have him fail at funny than to fail at life.

This is no place for serious discussion. Please confine your remarks to contempt and hatred for those who employ Nordic downhill technique. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Well duh. That's because it's called DoorHingeMarking, not Telemarking.

Hey d-bag - here's something for you to think about: maybe (just maybe) not everybody here has their little panties in a wad 24/7 and flies into a rage whenever somebody disagrees with them. Maybe these same mags don't take this place uber-seriously. Maybe this even includes the vast majority of the people who post here as opposed to you and like 20 other thin-skinned douchebags. Just something to think about. -JER

i'm riding a pair of dukes and another pair of G3's. not confidense inspiring to tele on the dukes.no feed back and the pivot is wrong as you said but for a small downhill section it can be done.
