Pretty sure he's made of pure muscle...
Had an interesting conversation with his Dad in the Village years ago...Mike has been doing these things for years...generally not on camera.
He's really stepped up his game!!!

The line at 1:38 was sick and I think I would be a little scared, at least at first.

Not always. Back in the late 70's early 80's when plastic Kayaks hit the scene and the level of boating jumped light years ahead, it got publicity on Wide World of Sports and other major media outlets. It was presented as an "extreme" activity, and Death defying. That stigma became embedded in the colective subconcious and as a result, MOST people won't even consider getting involved because it is now seen as some dare-devil, death wish, even mellow class 3-4 stuff. That image has severly hindered the popularity of white water boating. I think it would be cool for local rippers like Mike to get paid to do what he do, but it may not help promote the sport, it may make people think that skiers are nuts, and discourage folks from taking up the sport....I think if you want a TV show that would increase the popularity of skiing it should feature sunny, low angle Powder runs...

my question is how did he survive that? That was some seriously non-hero snow.
I guess that even Jeremy Jones has to have heroes.
