    Paco Pads

Ok, so I finally dropped in and got a Paco Pad, I got the 3" thick grande version. I've only heard how comfy those pads are and I've used it a couple of times already and man, it seems firm...really firm. So I was wondering if you guys that have them do anything different from just letting it air it up and closing the valves? I tried sleeping on it with the valves open and that wasn't any better, so maybe let it air up and climb on and let *some* air out, then close the valves? Or maybe it needs to just break in on it's own? Anyone have any input?

It'll break in a bit. Roll/unroll it a dozen or so times to let air get into the foam quicker.
Jack does pride himself on the quality of foam he uses and how it doesn't break down as quickly as most. The 3" is a softer foam than the 2"ers so if it's WAY too stiff now, you may consider the 4" or the Aire pads.

Thanks, I'm hoping it will break in. I'll try rolling it up a few times...

Interesting. I've got the same one and it was ready to go at purchase. I do prefer firmer mattresses, though.
