LIke I said, mags rule. Aside from the occasional hater/troll type pissing all over a thread, I've had more terrific ski and even bike related experiences with folks I've met through here. Equipment, tour guides, junior coaches and endless stoke, the list just goes on and on. Some of my best local ski buds I met through here. Every time I've gone to other areas - with or without groms - I've been hooked up by very, very gracious and cool people.
I'm literally overcome with warm fuzzies for all you asshats!
BTW, I told thing #1 that if this worked out he'd have to join TGR. Being a 16 yr old kid he's been on NS for a while but has been complaining lately that there's too much BS there. I'll try to ensure his first post is in this thread and you can all JONG the shit out of him!

Love it....in 2 days a lost ski is reunited w/ its owner as well as this. The collective never ceases to amaze. Thats what makes this place great....

I didn't think RECCO had any place in my life. Monday I spent an hour and half with a schonstedt looking for my sons camera. Never did find it. Maybe Mt. Eyak need RECCO.
Good of cmor to step up and provide a happy ending.off your knees Louie

Man, doesn't get much better than that.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
