Seriously, are you people new at this? I thought every Ski Bum knew this?

Posting *antijinx*, wink wink, has the same effect Truth, skunkage.

The only acceptable way to discuss the approaching storm is flat out denial as in "It's not gonna snow. Ever." Ullr takes this as a direct challenge.

    Please take note.

    Thank you.

The 'Jinx' shit needs to stay in church along with the 10%. Astrology and skiing just don't mix. And what's up with wiper blades???

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE WESTERN TWO THIRDS OF
    UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING.

    .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WEAKENING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING LIGHT SNOW TO MUCH OF NORTHERN
AND WESTERN UTAH TODAY. ANY ACCUMULATION IN THE VALLEYS ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN AN INCH OR LESS...WHILE 1 TO 4 INCHES ARE
    EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A STRONGER AND MUCH COLDER STORM SYSTEM LOOKS TO IMPACT THE
REGION WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...POTENTIALLY BRINGING HEAVY SNOWFALL
TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN AS WELL AS MOST WESTERN VALLEYS INCLUDING
THE WASATCH FRONT AND I-15 CORRIDOR. ALONG WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR
HEAVY SNOWFALL...MUCH COLDER AIR WILL ACCOMPANY THIS SYSTEM...WITH
DAYTIME HIGHS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY STRUGGLING TO REACH THE 20S
ACROSS THE WESTERN VALLEYS...AND OVERNIGHT LOWS FALLING INTO THE
SINGLE DIGITS IF NOT BELOW ZERO.

I can't ski anyway so that's why it's gonna snow.

    Your welcome.

No, I'm using these psychic powers to jinx the Wasatch and track the flow to the Tetons. I already took out Beaterdit with a voodoo doll. Excuse me, I have a goat to disembowel.

beyond this little bit of irony is coming on a ski forum to get stoked and talk about skiing and then starting a thread about other people's magical powers to make it not snow merely by typing about it on a web site.

Are you going to all the other websites and asking them nicely not to talk about weather as well?

seems to me an incoming storm is exactly what you talk about on a ski forum with other skiers...

but I guess mother nature gives a shit about the wasatch thread seein' how utah is the center of the universe...

talking about storms in the tahoe thread hasn't really been detrimental this season's all I'm sayin'

Enjoy it since you are already up there.

I predict an LCC road closure or 3, causing massive attitude skiers, er Alta and Bird skiers to head up the other canyon, causing massive clusterfuckness. Don't forget the power issues in BCC and getting stuck on the lifts yet again.
Those interlodged later tonight will be in heaven tomorrow.

I'm either going to work or head north, out of the clusterfuck of the Cottonwoods.

This, of course, all depends on what my handy dandy iPhone tells me in the am.
