That was a kick ass camera: 38-380mm optically stabilized zoom, 15 frames per second, electronic viewfinder so you can actually review photos in bright light...

Too bad all the camera makers got caught up in the battle for megapixels and forgot about the performance side of the consumer digicam market.

    Nice work Utards!!!
I’d be jealous of the skiing you had and photo skills but I got to spend most of my holiday weekend in the office. Top that!

Can you post a few gopher shots? Or even better, a sequence ending with a slut completely buried in the snow.

    Again, great pics.

Bummer, it was uber deep in there (duh).

As for the name, well, doesn't really matter to me. First thing I thought of was "fluffer" because every time I think about that baby and the feathery soft deepness you land in, I get a woody.

You're right on all accounts! The E100 RS will shoot over 800 pics on a cold day without changing batteries. It doesn't mind subzero temps or getting snowed on. I never miss a shot because of the camera. (I miss some by still gaping some days ) I hope somebody will build something else like it, but updated, soon.
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.
