If you live in the Portland (Oregon), Seattle, Boise, Denver, or SLC areas, I am humbly suggesting you check out SEGO when they roll through town.
This Los Angeles based quartet kicks azz!

    Tour dates listed here:
    https://www.segosucks.com/

I saw them the other night in Reno and they dished out some great times and supreme energy.

Seeing them on the 30th in Seattle. Looking forward to it! Wife even has a big furry purple raver hat that you can be sure one of us is going to wear.

Saw a hippy jam band out of Bend called Watkins Glen tonight. Named after the famous concert of course where they obviously play a mix of the Dead, Allman Brothers, the Band, etc. They were really good. Best $17.50 I’ve ever spent on a concert for sure. Closed with an extended sandwich of Ain’t Wasting Time No More and Franklins Tower that was pretty brilliant.

    Yep, live in Sandy.
And fuk, I didn't even know WoD were coming here. Great live band.
Saw Spoon a few weeks back @ Canyons though. That was a stellar show too. Very good live act!

Had a good week- saw Sisters of Mercy and the next night Three for Silver which I had never heard of but put on an amazing show with circus performers and a grand old time. They will be in Portland and Bellingham soon, definitely check it out if you are into weird stuff.

    Fantastic Cat - from NYC
Multi-instrumentalists all. Except by their admission none of them can play drums for shit.
They change instruments each song, except at the end they change every verse

We caught Fantastic Cat as an opening act last year. I couldn’t decide if they were brilliant or just grown up theater kids in an odd wedding band.

Anyway, how did the bike valet go at this year’s festival?

^^^Yeah, I kinda think they are more of the latter. They all play with different bands as well.

Bike valet was zany this year. One of the locations was literally stuffed with 150 bikes from an hour after opening until 11pm (closes at 1AM). Couldn’t let someone in until someone left. We keep adding space but the volume of e-bikes grows faster. At least all of the e-bikes had kickstands this year…

We also had a huge wind come thru Sat PM - blew down one side of the perimeter fence, which knocked over a dozen bikes on kickstands, which knocked over a rack of nine.

Happily no bikes were noticeably damaged

Yup, they are quite good. Their bass player also backs up a friend of mine in a totally different genre - folk music that will make you cry

Three For Silver sounds cool, but looking at their past and present tour schedules they only seem to play OR, WA, the former Czech Republic, Germany, and bits of Austria and The Netherlands…

I saw Corb when he had The Corb Lund Band back in the early aughts down on Sixth Street in Austin, TX.
    He ripped.
Have always wanted to see him again, but keep missing him when he swings through spots near me…

Agreed - saw him last year with the Hurtin Albertans. A mostly mellow set but he did channel his speed metal days on a couple of numbers. Would def see again

Saw Paul Cauthen last night in Missoula. Pretty damn rocking for a Monday night show. I think last time I saw him at the Newberry in GF was a better show but the band was way tighter this time. That man can definitely put on a show.

One day I'll be able to brag how I saw Cris Jacobs in a club with about 50 people in it. Mike Gordon hopped up and played a few songs with him including a great version of Little Feat's Two Trains.
