Primus last night at Edgefield tore it up! I had not seen them since mid 90s, crazy!

Provided I was in to the music, this looks like a slice of heaven.

Did Sigur Ros do something similar?

I'm absolutely in to the music and a bit jealous. I saw Truckfighters recently and they put on a great show and Brant Bjork does not suck. That looks like an awesome combination of intimate venue and open air show.

I've hit the shows pretty hard this year (for me).

Japandroids at The Neptune. Great energy. I was sick, so I hung out in the back to not get bounced around, but what a show. Highly recommend.
TOOL at the Gorge was amazing. 15 rows from the stage meant a pretty mind blowing experience.
Next two are Sturgill Simpson at Marymoore and NOFX at the Punk in Drublic Fesitval with Bad Religion and Goldfinger. Cannot wait. Music from my youth (and in NOFX's case, the present)

Sad to miss Rancid and Dropkick Murphys this week, but family duties took precedence.

This year is all time for me, so many good shows in my queue. Just bought tickets for Evanescence today. Amy Lee is a singing Goddess for me and to see them with an orchestra backing them up will be great.

I haven't been to the Belly Up in years. Usually the bands I want to see are playing at larger venues. Super excited to see Al Dimeola in Sept. He is playing at a really cool old theater I have always wanted to see a show at.

Huh, I don't think I was aware of Al Dimeola, so I googled him up. Holy cow is that guy good. From New Jersey? Get Out!

Went to Chris Isaak the other night and was entirely entertained. Not a lot of improv going on it would seem, but a canned show of entertainment including a lot of comedy. The guys voice is pretty outstanding and the band did not miss one chord. For a show we thought we'd bail on at half time, it ended up being much better than expected.

I missed my chance to grab a Steven McDonald EP during the show. If there are any left could you get one for me? PM sent.
