Almost went to that show! I never saw the Greyboy All-stars but have seen Karl Denson many times long ago...

I’ve been a fan of KDTU for [emoji638][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] years but never knew about The Greyboy Allstars. I listened to a playlist of them last night and really enjoyed it. Thanks for turning me on to them. Too bad their tour isn’t coming this way.Originally Posted by EWG;[emoji[emoji6[emoji640
Dead South in Portland, Maine a couple Friday's ago. Tunes from their new album, Chains and Stakes mixed in with older stuff. So good!
the very good news is that you can stream every show from this tour live on YouTube. Tonight's show starts at 9pm PST. Small venue, 2K person in Oklahoma City. Just search KGLW and it should come up, there's a 10 minute timer that shows up with random video, then the show. Plus phans are ripping the streams and posting them. Watched most of the shows this leg and plenty from the first leg. Super cool of them to do it (and probably a good business decision).

Kenny Ambrose-Smith might be one of the best ever. Everything he touches is gold. Straws in the Wind and Grim Reaper from Remlinger Farm are insane, I can’t stop watching. Love that dude.

I was fortunate to catch John Prince on his last tour, Valerie opened and sang with him. So good

Finally got to see American Aquarium. Wow! Maybe the best show I've seen this year (and I didn't know their music very well). High energy from start to finish, great storytelling (gonna be listening closely to the lyrics today) and the crowd was way into it. BJ wrapped it up with a long story about his mom who passed... Don't think I've ever heard a crowd so quiet and respectful. We were not planning to stay to the end but was so good... Couldn't leave.

So much good to say about AA since discovering them back in 2008! Been traveling to see them since 2012 and have seen them all over our great country in large halls and small, intimate venues. Going to the annual Roadtrip to Raleigh should be on any fan's bucket list once in their lifetime. Still friends to this day with members from his previous AA lineup (Ryan, Bill and Whit) and have become friends with Shane and Neil from his current lineup.
From this past Wednesday at TSR
BJ has become like a "brother in arms" over the years; always happy to see one another!
Thank God for Red Iguana to bring them back to town each year
Finally, SLC Dawg, you never, EVER, fucking leave an AA show before it is over!!
D-Day would have your head if you pulled that shit!!

I try to stay till the end regardless.
Just to show respect for the artist.

JENNY DON’T and THE SPURS rock!
Although I didn’t find them so much “Cow Punk.”
I felt they owed more to vintage Patsy Cline and OG Country Twang…
Whatever you wanna call ‘em, it really doesn’t matter as they are right and put on a great show.
To give you an idea of their vibe:
