She’s great. I had stumbled across her randomly and was listening to her other sets before I even heard about all the Jerry/Dead related work. This set got me back into house music after a 20 year hiatus.

You’d probably like bad snacks- seems uber- talented, some real good stuff in there, though I question whoever handled her mixing last night as the bass was painfully blown out on a few songs

Went and saw Jon Spencer in a great venue last night that holds all of about 75 people. Last time I saw him was in the same spot about a decade ago. Dude and his band still rock out. Felt like I was back in PDX in the aughts.

Heading to see Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers at the Gothic in a few days. First live concert in... what seems to be forever.

Flying to OKC tomorrow to see Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Isbell and Charles Wesley Godwin.

Arena show but OK crowd for hometown boys should over come I hope. Saw a drunken TT in NYC 10 years ago, Isbell a dozen times and first time for CGW.

Somehow in the 35 years since You’re Living All Over Me became one of my favorite albums of all time I had never seen Dinosaur Jr. live. Rectified that last night. Amazing show, glad to see them in a club and not a bigger show. I still don’t know how 3 guys can put out so much sound.

I caught J Masic solo a few years ago. Crazy the sounds he can get out of an acoustic guitar., great performance. He was an interesting character, pretty gruff with the audience and played like he was pissed off the whole time. I don't think he said two words the entire show. I still have to see Dinosaur Jr.

It was a really fun show. Lots of Refreshments stuff along with newer tunes I'd never heard. Gothic Theatre is a really nice place to see a concert. I'd bet it'd be a hoot to see them down in Puerto Peñasco when they have their festival.

They have been playing short shows, but they are definitely on top of their game. GSBG was amazing at Fenway tonight too.

Man, I *think* I saw DJR at a festival waaaay back in the day but I honestly don't remember.

I'd love to see them now. "Without a Sound" was definitely part of my highschool/college soundtrack.

Good times. But man, they didn’t actually want to be there from the vibe they gave off. Except the kid playing bass, he was stoked as fuck!

Yeah, strange vibe for sure. Basically some investment banker from Morgan Stanley paid for them to be there and bought out the balcony? And then let us plebes buy tickets for the floor?

Based on watching the bass player, I wonder if weed is going to be hard to find in Jackson for a while. He didn’t open his eyes for about 5 songs in a row and had the biggest shit eating grin. maybe that’s just how he rolls?

Id be pretty happy with that program.

Saw Tool last night. 2nd time I have seen them live. Holy crap, I forget how heavy they are. It just isn't conveyed listening in the car or on buds in the ears. But in person? Good lord. I could FEEL the music. It was amazing. 2 something hour show and I left wanting, nay, needing, more.

Well said and I definitely agree. No ear buds or headphones could possibly come close to the energy of that band. The rhythm is absolutely unmatched.
