Great show that I may don’t get another chance to see them all together.
Saw the SF (well, Santa Clara) show Sunday night. Blew my mind how good they were.

I don't know if I zoomed in too far or I was in some effect mode, but this was when they came out to a small stage closer to us and did "Sweet Virginia" and "Let it Bleed" Pretty cool.

Went and saw Demons and Wizards last night, they are a project with the singer of Blind Guardian and the guitarist from Iced Earth. They definitely know how to put on a show! I think they brought their own light control setup

Missed Tyr opening, and was pleasantly surprised by Lizzy Borden. Wasn't impressed listening before the show but they did a good job on stage.

Skunk Anansie is incredibly good in concert. Not fully my taste in music but what a performance. Actually got louder than a Sleep concert at times.

Prophets of Rage RAGED. Incredibly good. Tom Morello is a guitar wizard.

First show for me at the new Mission Ballroom. It's on an urban island, but it will fill in soon enough. Great venue.

JRAD didn’t disappoint at red rocks last night as per usual. Now I have to pull my shit together for 3 nights at Dicks. I’m getting too old for this shit.

Saw 10 bands today at the Adirondack Independence Music Festival. Two stages side by side, within seconds of one band finishing, the next band would start on the other stage. Sound was great.

Deadgrass - Hudson Valley Dead cover band

Midnight North from San Francisco - one of the most impressive bands of the day

Kung Fu - Probably my favorite of the day - These guys rock.

G Love and Mihali Savoulidis of Twiddle

    Ryan Montbleau Band

Marco Benevento from Woodstock, NY - Saw him earlier this summer with bassist Karina Rykman and became a big fan

Karina is easy on the eyes and can play!

    Twiddle from VT

Saw Peter Wolf of J. Geils fame last night. Dude is 73 and jumping around like a kid, show sounded great. A mixture of originals and Geils Band classics, the guy is an entertainer.

Wasn't planning on going but the ticket kinda just fell in my lap so made it a full metal weekend and caught Iron Maiden in Sac on my drive back up last night. Bruce sounded good, way better than I expected. Pretty damn good for a bunch of 60 year olds!

Was there PP! Buddy called last minute with a tic. Good show. I was laughing at Bruce getting all butthurt when the fans didn't know the words to some of the newer material. At one point he even said, "What the fuck is this?" and threw his hands up. LOL. I actually thought the crowd was pretty lit for a Monday night. Even had a pretty good little mosh pit going.
