    If you could go anywhere...

If you could go to any western US or Canadian resort in late February or early March, where would you go?

Haven't been to Telluride yet, but maybe with La Nina, its not the year to do so. I like Jackson Hole.

Where the big dumps that you love are of course!
Best ski are in the west=crappy when there's been no fresh snow and other areas have dumppage.
    Stay flexible if you can.

I'd stay in CO and go to the hundreds of places I still haven't been.

I'd go right to the search function, 'cause I'm pretty sure this question has been asked before.

Then I'd go nail your mother. Twice.
Shut your eyes and think of somewhere. Somewhere cold and caked with snow.

    Hell...I'll bite.

Like someone has mentioned before, don't lock yourself into one spot/region. About a week or so before you wanna go, check the satellites and forecasts for some of your top choices.

    (mine would be)
    Revy
    Jackson
    Baker/Xtal/Stevens
    Squaw/Kirkwood/Alpine Meadows/Sugar Bowl
    Bridger Bowl
    Utardia

And then pull the trigger based on which area looks to be getting hammered. (easier to do for the WA, CA resorts given their proximity to that big precip maker to their west)

But that's just how'd I'd do it...what I do know though, we only scored 3 pow days in WA in '08 over a 5 day trip.

Yes Revelstoke! That's my new fave in this region. I just got a few free early season passes to be used before December 24th (target opening December 3) and that place is not shitty. Also hope to see Kicking Horse, and Sun Peaks which I also have some free passes at. I spent a week in revvie 2 years ago, made some good friends at the hostel, got really sick at the hostel, which is a viral breeding ground of largely unventilated army barracks.

And a town with a strip joint with ONE stripper. I saw 4 guys on a friday night walking down there with superbowl energy charged up, and when I pointed out there's only 1 stripper, they say "Yeah its gonna be GREAT, comeon!!" The UFC fight at the sports bar was way better, including the fistfight outside right after the match ended in about 2 minutes. I hope they weren't playing that fight in the strip club.

Please nobody comment on the fucking real estate prices there.
