TR: Chaumont, Fall Colors and New Wood

Lifts are closed for biking. Now is the transition period between bike and ski seasons where we ride cute little funiculaire trains to get our DH fix. An incompetent boob came down from deutschland to make 5 or 6 rips down Chaumont, hoping for a delay in the rain. As luck would have it, the rain held off until Saturday night. The riding was pretty sweet, as good or better than 'in' season riding.

Another good day's riding and some nice pics too Ripz.

    Spent Sunday morning here:

They're spinning lifts until the 7th, but it isn't worth the drive from your place (Biel/Chaumont are better).

i'm glad to hear that you got some biking in on sunday...coz it didn't rain on sunday here. it rained a little on sat night but sunday was just a bit overcast.

we'll probably hit it again this weekend but next weekend zinal opens for ski and looks to be a bunch of snow coming.

Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

I love fall riding, new lighting in forest, leaves everywhere. Nice work.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
