In no certain terms is this version, per se, better than the Beatles' original, but I supremely dig how 801 took a psychedelic masterpiece and flipped it into a raging prog-jazz fluctuation of rhythmic overload that pulses and undulates with crackling verve and raw kineticism.

Not better, but interesting GWAR covering Kansas

Most people don't realize that the Ramones were one of the best cover bands ever. They did a shitload of them. And they're all really good imo.
One of the greatest cover bands ever, they turned them all into Ramones songs.
