Similar to our boat in AK. Five years, 1100 hours on motor from us, sold what we paid for it. Covid era boats/campers.

edit: looking at that van site, holy shit, lotta crazy high prices. Unreal what people are getting for stuff. Yours included.

Yep. Fuck it. Figure I'll start w double KBB. If someone is flush w cash, has no idea how to hold a drill, or value a campervan, I'm just leaving money on the table not selling high...

want to thank people here for the advice. The CTEK battery charger was simple to hook up and seems to be working fine. Went with the Propex 2000 but may take it out as it is loud. Does heat things up. The Dometic fridge works great. Will need to clean some things up like the wiring, but it was time to hit the road.

32"x72" 28" head room at the peak of the cabover. cabover is wider than 32" but that is probably all the sleeping room you have.Click image for larger version.

I am late to this party and I am not, unfortunately, sleeping in parking lots at ski resorts. However, the Boss and I have a big-ass truck (BAT Mobile) and Fae, our camper.

Truck - 1996 F-350 long bed crew cab, 460 gas engine, 4x4, blah, blah, blah. We are the second owner and bought the truck with 73,000 miles.
Camper - 1988 Big Foot 9.5 Deluxe; four-season, lightweight fiberglass

We spent a couple of nights in Capitol Reef last fall; it was 20 degrees with snow on the ground. It was very comfy.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

The biggest regret of my life thus far is selling my '97 F350 crew cab long box 7.3 diesel. That is a gorgeous truck you have.

Yeah, Same here with my 97 CCSB 7.3. If it was a long bed I definitely would have kept it. They don't make trucks like that anymore.

My brother has a '97 F350 Stroker long bed regular cab. He's the second owner. Has like 40k original miles. That awesome sparkle gold paint. He's probably put another 20k into it. Full interior redone. Everything looked over/tuned/updated. Not a spot of rust. Amazing amazing truck.

Certainly a classic engine, and a very clean vehicle.....but.....have you not driven a modern diesel? Light years more pleasurable, quiet, and absolutely no issue in a headwind, ever.

    7.3 Torque 225

Modern diesel: double those numbers and quadruple the price

In Canada they are just ridiculously expensive now. I priced out a new F350 tremor a few weeks ago and it came in just shy of $100k....if I could even get one in that current model year.

I'm rocking my 2014 F150 Raptor still, because the new ones have issues and those are just as expensive....I fully agree the new trucks do everything better, but not for the price! Plus, I do love the classics.

Sometimes I think the classics are nostalgia alone, until you drive one and realize they are. 20+ year old technology, loud, slow, etc.

I thought that about my Cummins 5.9 24v, classic engine, but old, loud as hell, and 1/2 the performance of a modern truck.

You're not wrong at all. For ski RV I would be fine with it though. I just offloaded my 69 roadrunner because it was exactly what you described and have no desire to own another classic.
