Hey fellas thought I would ask here before making a post. I’m flying out to Sacramento to likely buy a 1987 e350 short bus with a 6.9l diesel the 11th . Runs and drives but could definitely use a tune up before I drive her all over. Anyone know a diesel mechanic that could take a look in the area? Bus is a little south of Sacramento right now but I’ll be driving down to LA soon after.

Got everything built in the new rig, lift on, and out for some dirt. Almost got myself in trouble a few times.

Since I can't stand up in it, I'm only allowed to spend limited money. About $200 all in, not including some re-used Booster straps, but including buying a jigsaw and a pocket hole jig.

Also North was totally right about how trash the 3/4" ply at home depot is vs the 1/2" stuff I bought at a proper lumber yard. Lesson learned.

So far, one middle finger (from a Ford Transit?). And yes, he had a flat-brim hat on.

And one peppy "honk honk" and thumbs up from a 1980's Toyota Delica.

It has true maggot written all over it. Or it will, after spray paint is applied.

Yep nice job dude. I missed your lift update a few pages back - looks legit! Siennas seem to be multiplying in my crew. 3 new recruits in the past year.

Has anyone tried their own boot wheel lock for security?
Seems quite a selection online from $30 to way over $100

Planning ahead in case I find a trailer, would be a small cheap trailer most likely less than $1000. But nice to have some visible deterrent.

Why not a tongue lock? That's what I usually see on trailers (and have used on mine in the past).
