Can't honestly say. There was a camper semi-blocking the main entrance, a Earthromer acting like an entitled twat and a bunch of hipster looking nerds afraid to drive their city mobiles in 6" of snow. I came into the lot hot, dropped it in 2WD, threw a mean donut, rammed it in snow bank, jumped out with my boots on, told everyone not to ski Current as CDOT would blow them up, offered my shovel to clear out there parking space, chomped a gummy and went and skied knee to dick deep.

I'm over it. I rarely yell at anyone anymore. Some of the young bucks need to keep up the regulation [/berthoud pass hate police].

If anyone has one for sale, or suggestions for a cold weather one, let me know.
    25+ would be ideal.
Lance fills the bill in terms of cold weather. Not a 5th wheel though. http://www.lancecamper.com/toy-haulers/

at village dodge in hudson ny, there is a brand new 2014 ram promaster ,136 wb, high roof, 1500 series

i came very close to buying it. at 26,300$, it's an incredible deal. 40 miles on it.

some searching results are that the same vehicle is fetching that price with ~30k on it.

told the guy i would let some people know about it.

Calling all ski bums. If I was looking for a cheap camper, this would definitely be on my list, this thing would be ridiculously cheap to repair with the abundance of parts that can be had at any junkyard.

I saw this in the SLC REI parking lot the other day. A 4wd truck camper without the weight or space imitations of the bed. Is anything like this available in the US?

This is about as close as you can get to that flatbed hilux in the US:

Yes, pretty much any pop-up manufacturer and many custom hardside manufacturers will build on a flatbed. Anything is possible with enough money. Check out wanderthewest and expeditionportal.

Here in the future(if life stuff goes as planned), I would like to build a 3/4ton Diesel utility bed + pop up camper. If not, I'll do a flat-bed and then fab my own storage on the sides. Something like this would be ideal. Those utility sides have tons of storage instead of just a regular bed which offers nada.
