We also stayed at Boulder Mountain Resort on our way through Revvy, First class with everything from power only to new log cabins. Also includes laundry and hot tub. Five minutes from town and 15 from the hill. Half skiers, half sledders.

In regards to toilets, we removed our gray/black tank. Dry flush toilet is the bomb. Uses no water (obviously), extends water capacity for more productive things, and no messy emptying of cassette or black tank. I'll never use anything else. Can toss the garbage bags away anywhere.

Small sturdy garbage can and 4 gal plastic bags from Walmart, much cheaper.

I've come out of the clouds re: pricing my ski van. Transit AWD is supposedly on the way.
15k for my promaster. It books at 12/13k and there is a couple/few grand in materials for the build.
Someone will get a fair deal. I'll get some pics up.

"Wanna have Caterpillar stickers on your van, not prayer flags." For that comment alone, I'll pay $100,00k for it.

Byates, how many miles are on your Fiat? I was close to buying one of those a few years ago and kept hearing about endless tail-light replacements etc. I really like the FWD and boxy shape. It sounds like yours has been good to you.
ride bikes, climb, ski, travel, cook, work to fund former, repeat.

It has^
Headlights go out often. Five years same twilights. 235k
Got front shocks done last week. Oil cooler body this week, trans flush next week. I'm maintaining it as though I'm keeping it. Pads are at 6mm, will need those this summer. Tires will be shot this summer. This rig will go into the 300/400k without much of a problem imo.

fwiw for anyone contemplating this- we have loved the hell our promaster too - great option here.
FWD works great for my husband’s daily driver in JH.
I also really like the storage above the driver’s area in the promasters
We have a sprinter at my work and it’s not any nicer than the promaster (both drive like a truck) and the promaster is half the priceskid luxury

If I was in a wildly different situation I would be buying byates van right now. I've seen it in person many times. Solid rig and should go to a maggot before some JONG snatches it up and starts a #vanlife instagram.
