OK, one more for Gepeto.
This one is in your neck of the woods.
About double the cost of the other but a better rig overall.

This rig looks like it has some potential for a fun-machine. 1982 Jeep J20 360 4x4I've got the key to the highway... I'm gonna leave here runnin', walkin's far too slow

PNW truck camper - never seen one of these. Pic of the tag has weight at 1900, which is approx same as similar low end bigfoot. Nice roof rack that looks stock.

How sweet would this mercedes be built with 4x4 - 5 cyl diesel

Little pricier - this has gepeto written all over it. 4x4 and nicely equipped.

Those last three are intriguing....
Here's my summer project- an early 80's FWC Fleet. It just went in the truck today in preparation for a little outing next week and the winter to come!
I got it out of a snowbank this spring on highway 97. I thought a little polishing up and it'd be fine; I ended up re-insulating the whole thing, patching the vinyl, adding 4" of height, building a whole new floor and sides, re-doing the plumbing, electrical, and entire kitchen, a new headliner, rubber floor, bigger bed, and new lifter panels. I also painted it satin black, made sure there was plenty of diamond plate, and added lockable ski/whatever doors to the back corners. It was sized for a Tacoma, so I had some spare room in my Tundra to work with. This also makes it a tidy fit on the Tundra, nice for a daily driver. I'm curious to get a measured weight, but it rides just fine, add-a-leaf only.
Look for it in your local PNW resort parking lots and trailheads!Gravity always wins...

Well, I had a big description written out, but it somehow ghosted off when I added the pics. in brief: I bought a rotten hulk of an early 80's FWC Fleet this spring, and put way more hours in than I meant to- but it went in the truck today and I'm stoked.
I patched up the vinyl, rebuilt the rotten floor, added 3" of height with new sides, gutted and replaced the plumbing, electrical, and entire kitchen, added a bigger bed, increased the width to Tundra size, put ski/whatever doors on the back corners to make use of the fender area, made new lifter panels, re-insulated it, new headliner, roof rack, new mattress, and then painted it satin black.
It's packed for a run to White Salmon, rides just fine, add-a- leafs and Bilsteins only.
Sorry the pics didn't rotate properly.
Look for it at lour local PNW resort or trailhead!Gravity always wins...
