Ski RV's, who's sleeping in parking lots?

The heater pulls around 8 amps when the glow plug is running, so it might be worth pulling a 12awg wire direct from the battery with a hard wired fuse for reliability.

The heater will also sense low voltage so if your cigarette lighter is small gauge wire, it might have enough voltage drop to turn itself off.

Otherwise, Blue Sea makes a 15a cigarette plug with weatherproof cap that would be a good replacement, or go with an Anderson Powerpole.

I put a 20A buss fuse in the cig lighter male connection. No problem. We camped last night in 15 degree temps using only a 330w battery pack to run the whole thing. I was nervous and ran it on pretty low setting for 9.5 hours. Kept my sleeping area in the top of the GFC at 35-40 degrees.

Only used about 3L in the 10L tank and battery pack still had 60% left this AM. Could have run the setup a little warmer I think and still been great all night.

Found a herd of about 20 that was up at 8500 feet. Saw them from a mile away. Hustled over to their location and the wind was swirling bad. Must have winded us. Way she goes. Saw some rad ski lines though.

First they put it on sideways but it looked goofy.
The covered porch area under the cabover would be a nice place to hang out. But then it also has an awning on the side?

Last year in AK before moving to MT. Will be doing a lot more of this this year with a road system and more ski areas. Looking forward to sunshine, and not skiing in rain gear.
Diesel heater in a box on pic one. I've since located it inside camper with the new silent fuel pump. Been running these heaters for a few years now in our boat in AK, and camper. Never had an issue.

When did you get the NP? Congratulations! Just south of you in the Wydaho metroplex.
