Rented a camper van and practiced hashtag vanlife over the weekend. Man, I could get used to this. Had a few rainy nights and stayed dry and warm. Would not have been possible in a tent I don’t think.

I'm selling my AWD Astro, located in North San Francisco Bay Area. It was a great run but with a baby on the way it's time to get something that can carry a baby seat (rear seats are removed). Shoot me a PM if interested!

Getting the van ready for provincial inspection. Replaced rear brakes, axle bearings, seals tires and rims.
Amazing what a set of rims does for a vehicles appearance.
Need to do some mods inside to be able to sleep length wise instead of cross way.

The output of those things is actually very hot. No flames, at least on mine, but I can't hold my hand in front of it for long...

Update: purchased and van is sweet.

The ecoboost is crazy fast for the whale that thing is. Rubber Weathertech floor going in next week and then a basic build out for cargo storage happening this summer.

Ski RV's, who's sleeping in parking lots?

    $500 Bigfoot?!

Fits a 6’ bed; too short for me, but at that price, damn!

AWD Ford Transits will be rolling off of assembly lines around the end of this year. Should offer some options for skiers in the years to come.

Selling the rig. Wish I did not have to but it is what it is. Somebody pick this up and adventure in it.

Yeah, it is by far the most dependable and easy to work on vehicle I have ever owned. It is still currently my daily driver so miles will go up. Just a great truck for the mountains, but it is time to move on and pass it onto someone who will enjoy it for years to come.

Just picked up an AWD Savana for the cause. Should make a nice base for a mild build adventure/ski van. Needs a little lift, some Duratracs, a bed and some RV stuff as $$ allows.
