Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.

No fucking way that's getting the soap of. Kinda gross honestly.

Get wet. Soap your dirty ass up. Rinse with a small bucket and one of the Amazon pumps.

    Don't fall for the consumerism.

Ski RV's, who's sleeping in parking lots?

How’s that holding up now that youre getting some miles on it out in the field? Any warping, movement, or door/clamshell (for lack of a better term) fitment issues?

Mounted on the truck full time since January. Daily driver. Have thousands of miles on it. Miles and miles of shit dirt roads. It all works the same as it did day 1. Hoping to get two years, then I'm building another one with some minor changes just because I like torturing myself.

Genuinely impressive work. I’ve shown that to a few people and they all dig it too.

Ha! Thanks Buddy for the share… any Dentists out there looking for a dialed cold weather rig this is it! Nothing like warming the feet on 70* floors after a day skiing. In all seriousness we’ve had 30-40 very comfortable nights in this rig supporting our 2 kids at IFSA Comps the last 2 winters from Targhee/Jackson - Big Sky-Kicking Horse - Revelstoke and everywhere in between. Just Time to build the next one

Saw a fairly new 2020 Winnebago Revel sell on carsandbids.com for about $105k today. Didn't expect it to go for so low. There is a buyers fee but still it seems the market has softened.

Dental grade MTB market already super softened. Overall travel/camping numbers will be down this summer. I'm guessing way softened RV market into this summer. Lot of high end builds being sold for a loss. Good time to swoop on nice Sprinters if you have the loot.

Glad I didn't type what I was thinking when I first saw that ad before you posted, ha! But if it's just for skiing trips that build makes sense now.

Your kids sleep below the bed in the folded down couch I presume? What are those two middle black tracks running down the middle for?

I hope so but I don't know of any reason why they would be.

Seems like the last four years there's been a glut of new high end and middle ground campers being built on various platforms (van, truck camper, etc) and I can't see how the market could continue (if ever) support that.

The wsj article today including Marcus lemonis are pretty bullish on the future of the rv industry even though sales jumped off a cliff this year

    A 188k rig for $1,100 a month for 240 months sounds like a deal.

Once you go van you won't go back I can't get enough I do so much off roading in mine it's amazing like a champion 24% grades last weekend

Cept when I thought I'd drive through some mud and stuff a 8500lb rig isn't made for that

Well winter #3 killed my faucet completely. Sacrifice to the vanlife gods as it was the best winter since I started this crazy lifestyle

Could chase down some o-rings but gives me a blank slate to put something else in

First that's not a 'rig' that's just a cargo van that identifies as an Ikea studio apartment and second Sportsmobiles are about 8500-11,000.

Fully converted "skoolie" probably wouldn't work great for skiing but is kinda interesting.
