Its a bought knock-off from Amazon or EBay... I think it was about $85. I didn't want to invest too much before I saw how much I would use one. Been on my truck full time for about 9 months and deployed about 20 times (2 huge downpours). I can see where they cut costs on some stuff but nothing has broken. I did go over it and tighten/locktite all the fasteners when I first got it and installed it. No real complaints for the price.

Pretty cool (and pricy) rig, plus not a Sprinter

I did something similar, just added another set of poles to give me head-high clearance by the van.

But definitely like the idea of something less ghetto.

A year ago you couldn't have given that thing away and now that guy is asking $1700 for it and being a dick about it to boot. Madness.

Haha yeah. Although I can see some vanlife-hungry guy comparing this to a $80k custom rig and thinking "few coats of paint... discount laminate flooring... stickers... what a steal!!"

Then it sits in the garage for a year because restorations are, in fact, hard.

WTB: pop-up slide in that will fit a 6.5' bed Tundra. Something to get me through the summer. Will travel as far as 12-15 hours from MT for pick up. Will negotiate a finders fee for a maggot. Awaiting on some funds to come in, so it may not happen for about 4-6 weeks. All the cheap ones are for 1-ton trucks. Please keep your eyes peeled maggots and I will make it worth your while.

Acquaintance from college just posted this on FB “My 2007 Northstar MC600 is for sale. Primo condition, tasteful upgrades, everything works. DM for deets.” App won’t let me share a pic. It’s on a 6” taco, so not ideal but close?

I'm guessing too rich for my blood, but a price and a pic would be awesome. Sometimes the jacks are too narrow if coming from an older taco to a newer tundra.

I appreciate it man. That looks super nice. Doubt I can afford it. Some maggot should snatch it up unless I make some real poor decisions.

Getting tired of the sleeping under the topper deal. Being able to stand up to put your pants on is worth a lot of money lol!

Whiteroom, I’ve got a Sunlite Skyhawk SB for my 6’ 16 Tacoma I’m selling reasonably priced. Can fit Tundras from what I understand too. PM your number to me and I can get you more info and pictures.

If whiteroom isn’t interested in the sunlite. I am. If it fits a tundra bet it’d fit my Sierra. Let me know if he’s not interested

The pop top on Reno CL has "do not touch" written all over it. The top opened at road speed and is bowed like an airplane wing. There was one similar about a year ago on Sacto CL- for around $700 you got the lower 3/4 of the camper (still on the truck) and the gps coord's to the field where the top was off of Hwy 99 near Chico. Not sure how long that one was on the market...

Ski RV's, who's sleeping in parking lots?

Somebody needs to buy this before I do. I can’t afford another project and already have an express van. But the dirtbag in me longs for this thing.
