A couple months ago one with 15k miles sold in Portland for 41k no joke. They don't come up often, but last year several sold in the 80-110k mile range for 29-32k, so this isn't really that far off. At the same time, that blue one posted on here in Canada with 100k miles sold for 24k or something like that. With a new transmission 5 years ago, I wouldn't be surprised to see this one go for 30-33k.

I know the Tiger scene pretty well and follow sale prices when these types of things come up.

Lots of chatter and stoke around rigs, which is great. It's keep my excited about the upcoming ski season.

Is this thread the right spot to talk about where we can sleep in ski parking lots? As in, which resorts across the US and Canada allow for such things?

I should not be surprised, AWD vans are going for big money, AWD mini motor home based on an Astro platform even more so. I'm happy I picked up a newer van last winter for less than a condo down payment or a kidney.

Bobcat, I’ve been doing the occasional van life ski week for a few winters and IME it works well to reach out to mags in that area and get suggestions directly.

Generally the best idea. Splashing beta where just a couple people can crash on the interwebs doesn't work out great anymore.

All good, fellas. And no worries.

I'm stoked for this season, all things considered, and trying to get some good discussion going.

Came across this hot number today. Off market, mileage and maintenance history unknown. But, if you're interested I can refer you to the owner. In Provo.

Still need to spray paint “free candy” on the outside along with a few other mods on the inside, but an mtb trip to Moab last week proved that $4k was a killer deal for this thing. 260k miles with a new engine 65k ago. The dog and wife are happy, ski season will be mucho bueno this year. Sexy time lighting strung up by the mrs.

Good set of snow tires and you'll be good to go, right?

The blue bread van is a former US Air Force flight line aircraft maintenance vehicle. Fairly certain RWD. When I was a mechanic I spent many an hour in the back of those, or sucking diesel exhaust fumes hooking up various pieces of equipment to the pintle hook. Take a whiff of the back before you buy, leaked aircraft hydraulic fluid and engine oil from the empty cans is stinky and tends to permeate.

Yeah, some dumbfuck Newschooler posted the security code for my condo complex underground parking garage over on Newschoolers several years back. We got overrun by trespassers sleeping in cars inside. One night in a powder cycle Security got involved and a Tazor was used. Ugly scene but it ended. Too bad because I used to be able to slip a maggot or two in there.
