Seems like it's in pretty good shape too, albeit completely original trim/equipment.
I wonder what the reserve is?
Man I wish I could convert my AWD Astro to be like that one

In the days of 100k+ sprinter build outs how could that not sell?
Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

This is a more reasonably pricing van and it is still fairly ridiculous to me

I'd rather start with this and then have a pile left over for a truck

those listings defy common sense and virtually every rule of smart money decisions
that 90 model for $53k equals almost 4 years straight of motel 6 rooms....which becomes like 20 years worth when adjusted for ski seasons minus crap snow months

yeah. it's all a spherical metric. sometimes when i see something and think, wtf, then i'm like, what if that's the only thing he/she wanted/ family heirloom. walk a mile i guess..

but that is some fuckshit paying that for that, fuck that.

Sweet rig for sale in Denver.

    https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/...982779209.html

Didn’t look at the build on the $70k Westy but I’ve seen some that were heavily mechanically upgraded including Subaru turbo engines, bigger axles, etc. Still. People are buying nostalgia and fantasy.

The overland/RV market right now is silly. That said for 50K I'll take that 7.3 over a Westy every time. That is a gorgeous rig.

Saw his for sale post on Instagram a while ago. Got flamed HARD for asking 45k.
Gotta remember for the right person 45k is play money to have a hunting/broverland toy.

That's a sweet truck. But yeah, $45k is a bit absurd for a 25 year old truck with a 30 year old pop up camper. Guy seems to be placing a lot of value on the time he put into upgrading the truck, which is worth approximately zero in the real world marketplace.

Yup. My opinion its a 25k rig at best. With that being said, I have no money lol. All the right powertrain mods have been done though and that truck will run forever. The OBS Fords are some of the toughest trucks ever built.

Maintenance is good but doesn't up the value THAT much.
Any modifications to a car you can expect 25-50% back on investment. If that.
See it all the time in the Subaru world. Dudes build 60k STis, then end up selling them for 25k.
