Blizzard's line up has been outstanding for the last few years, the new skis should be dope.

and the best thing is that they will not have the dumb iq-system anymore (it will stay on the answer and the oder bc-twintips, but the "bullriding" freeride skis wont have them).
apart from the mentioned cochise and bodacious there are two smaller models, the bonafide wit 98mm waist and the bushwacker with 88mm. theyve all got quite some rocker and no real camber underfoot, look well made and solid. dumb graphics though, and the tips (at least of the cochise and bonafide) are very soft.

I don't know that 115 needed to be any "beefier". It felt solid and stable to me. As did the 100.

Skied the Bodacious mid december. Feels a bit "slow" on groomers, like a bit dull. Felt alot better as soon as you got some chopped up and softer snow under them though. Are probably money on bigger powder lines.

Got the question today if I wanna test the others aswell. Will probably do that in the near future.

^^^ In regards to the Bodacious, any input on what the profile looks like? Definitely looks like fun and obviously it has some rocker, but are we talking Spatulas, or S7 type profile, or what? Gets pretty annoying these days when a company tells you a ski has "rocker". Like that tells us much

i like that moment topsheet , but as far a shape, it looks just like every other moment. i'm going to go ahead and guess that the goat is getting kicked down a couple rungs because of their new bentchetlerish(hopefully full reverse camber ) shape that i read about on here somewhere. Anyone have any more details about that ski?

edit: i thought the armada VJJ was a joke? haha...

Pretty old version of that graphic on a different template. That graphic actually isn't going to go to production but will be a limited release with select retailers and through momentskis.com.

all the new "bullriding" skis have the same or nearly the same profile (at least the models available yet, dunno if they might change it for the mass production).
they have rocker in the tip, very even and maybe 1/2 of the part of the ski between binding and tip. minimal camber underfoot (about 1mm, so basically flat) and a little bit of tail rocker (i took some pics of the rocker i think, i can try to find them if someone is really itnerested).
I didnt ski the bodacious, but that ski might make sense. the cochise is pretty soft, especially in the tip, resembles a sidestash with more rocker and its softer but still feels solid while skiing.
i didnt really like the bonafide, the tip is flopping around all the time, seems that the rocker profile in the tip doesnt match the sidecut somehow.
bushwacker was nice to ski, but its so small that i wouldnt consider it for anything except piste, and well, id prefer a gs ski there.
overall i wasnt really excited, but i have to add that i could only demo very short lenghts (180 or so). i could see the cochise and esp. the bonafide perform much better with 15cm +.
and the skis felt kinda solid and damp, they have lots of titanal in them and are therefore heavy (not super heavy).

    As Freak puts it.
And I'd say that the rocker on the pair of Bods I rode were similar to EHPs front rocker, maybe a little bit higher but not much.
Oh, and I tried the 192 (194?). No length written on them.

    rumors:

For next year a narrower whitedot Redeemer type ski (appearently called Director) about 100 under foot (vs 128).
I must say that sounds like a good idea. While the superfat planks are nice and all it get a bit much when you have to lug it up 3000 vertical ft. and that could be super fun and versatile.

that is a prototype that is being skied.

And the one i am waiting (not for quite a while) for.. a smaller Ragnarok style ski supoosed to be going to be developement by the lady of the team (As an ex Austria national team ski racer i am pretty shure that will not be a noodle.. oh and she is rather hot as well, not that that matters at all.).

11/12 Bentchetler hasn't been changed, but Chris is experimenting with a stiffer tail.
