I just hiked into Snow Lake a couple days ago. There was a light dusting at lake level and it was sticking. Hope that's a little taste with a dump to follow. I guess that's not exactly Steven's. Same range at least.

    Here's to 2010/2011!
So true Mission taught me to turn lightly, or buy a new board. I killed a new board in 1 day there, riding with my dad. Right near where the plane is, near the Liberator lift or whatever it's called top right, shark teeth and fins everywhere. Wicked stashes all over. I've had about 5 or 6 really incredulous powder days there. Powder thursday! AwooT!

Man if they get over an 80 inch base I'm all about that place! Dry, light, sunny, and steep. Also will be hitting crystal/stevens and ... just got 3 free pre-season passes to Revelstoke and discounts at sun peaks, have to be used by I think late December. Seattle ski/snowboard show, a few freebies floatin around but not too many. Shell station deal accomodates powder thursday at Mission I believe.

Do you know if the Shell deal is running again in 2011. This website is still marked 2010.

They don't seem to have announced/decided if they're going to continue it but I'll bet they will.

The only areas that get ice are the three groomers with manmade. Most of the off piste has NE-NW exposure so more often than not your skiing deep sugar over windbuff midwinter. It takes some time to figure out where the snow is, this will be my eighth winter here and I am still finding hidden lines and stashes. I had about a dozen "bottomless" days at Mission last year and more boot top and knee deep days than I can count, you have to know where to go to find the wind transport. It also helps to live 15 minutes away.
