Anybody remember that? The ending was gross cuz there was no self arrest, just slowly coming to a stop head down.
I do. Totally gut wrenching watching that.

Exactly. If anything, I'm technically a Millennial, although I don't see anything of myself in the defining traits of that generation. I'm assuming this is a joke for Millennials about the old, out-of-touch Baby Boomer generation, and even though 35 should be young enough to get it... I don't. So, what I'm saying is, as far as comic strips go, it ain't Calvin and Hobbes, that's for damn sure.

An ex-girlfriend of mine, and an absolute charger. She’d just won Bridger Bowl, Crested Butte and Kirkwood and was the favourite for Valdez. The head injury she suffered ended competitive skiing for her, and she went back to farming sheep in New Zealand.

Bridgette was a damn good skier. Saw her compete at Kirkwood before that. She took some wicked hits there.
Totally flashed back to watching John Nicoletti die in a tomahawk on a rock band at Alyeska.
That was a super sad day for everyone at the event and the crash was livestreamed.
