LOL, I forgot all about the "Q". Yep, big welcome back to school party at the big white house (not Pierce House) behind Bicknell Gymnasium at the end of campus there just prior to freshman year.

We were down in Albuquacky for a Slayer farewell show a couple years ago, went to the Frontier after (like you do), and someone tried to break in to my buddy's van before we even got across the street. Not a huge deal, but we saw a cop a few feet away and said, hey, there's a bum breaking in to cars over here, and he goes in to full rant mode. "Fuck that guy, fuck this town, I fucking hate ABQ, if you want to be safe in this town you better carry a gun, I can't fucking wait to get out of here", etc. We had to talk him down from the ledge, I thought he was going to break down in tears.

Didn't quite know where to post these, but I just found out about Salvatore Gannaci's whacked out music videos which are just glorious. I've heard the DJ before (very Dune-esque) and he is very reminiscent of peak 90s Euro EDM, which I love, but totally understand if it's not your jam. Either way, at least check out the videos which are pretty entertaining no matter what your musical preferences are. This dude's an absolute trip...

Haha. The Q-Farm was some seriously inappropriate shit. That would never fly now. Even parents called it that.

    Right? Totally inappropriate.

You’re not wrong, I reached out to a WRA buddy yesterday who has a brother that was a few years ahead of us cause I thought I was going crazy - I think I am thinking of First Light that would have been freshman year and he says that Dave played the party I’m thinking of (the Russell’s house? If I’m remembering the name correctly.), and it wasn’t even freshman year, it was two or three years before according to him so 1990 he thinks.

Wrong Mr. Pickford all together, inconvenient for me.

See one post up, apparently I get my early 90s jam bands horribly confused. I do recall the kids a few grades above us who did see them when they came through (promoting on college radio from my conversation yesterday) were the ones who put a tape in my hands that got me hooked. Basically a few songs from Recently and one that I’ve never heard since or it morphed into some other song or it was a cover. Who knows, apparently my memory from 25 years ago is shit.

The real crime here is the fact that someone named their kid Manson.
