Surprised this storm is still cranking, looks like it is starting to fade/break up a bit but maybe another couple inches today. Friend up at MRG said snow is heavy but not total mank, basically perfect to fill in the damage we did this weekend.
This 2nd storm moving across Nebraska/Kansas looks interesting, definitely got bigger overnight. Looking forward to a better read on the weekend in the next 24hrs.

yup. hackensack home depot. same as last year...
only bigger!
go for it JMARS! especially late at night when all this slosh has frozen over hard enough for the car to track like it was on asphalt. i got mad spots scoped and would have more parking lot stoke but i have no crew to help do it to it.

After a disappointing week getting hosed out in Utah, I'm looking forward to some powder back east (ah the irony). Who is headed to Jay this Saturday? Airwolfe, what's the status on your ribs? You on skis yet?

I feel your pain, my trip to Utah two years ago was an ice fest. Really terrible conditions. And it snowed something like two feet back home. At least things are looking up around here though.

^^^ You two should be ashamed... everyone knows it never snows in UT. If you want powder, stick to southern New England.

actually kt, my reply to the above quote would be, "don't let something go wrong". been my thinking for years now

will do. good policy Rog. I live by words from a wise Mexican I met in Rosarito Beach -caca pasa. so pay attention. I should add, if it will cut into our drinking time its not worth it.
J report: took a lap to adjust to something other than blower pow. GP said it best, definitely surfy - an abundance of gorilla turns were seen by the trees today. base is complete now.

what shops in new england have proper bootfitters who carry and fit touring boots? a lot of the websites in that thread aren't too descriptive. ideally they would carry a range of brands (to avoid forcing my foot into the brand they sell).

Up to 8" of dense "powder" skied very well, upper and lower mtn. woods have a good layer over the old snow. Really quiet out today.
