more hiking kidstoke - Owen skinned to the top of Chair 3 at DR yesterday - about a 900' climb - it took us a couple hours with a lunch stop, but he charged up - good corn was the reward

he likes to put his own skins on

Starting dumping at Squaw around 1:40pm today. Tomorrow should be good if this keeps up. It's 34˚ at lake level and snowing.

    Whose at Squaw tomorrow?

Oldtimer reports one of his best pow runs of the year at Alpine this morning. Steeps up by Keyhole had a bottom, but just hit up Beaver Bowl and it was billowing over his thighs and waist. Purposefully set off a cold snow avy and just watched it smoke through the trees. Squaw is now 11" short of 800".

Sounds like a good way to spend the morning.

Squaw was phenomenal for the first hour then instantly turned into a worthless shit show. Worst line on KT all year. Did all the gapers randomly call each other and plan on skiing in late may? My pass fell outta my pocket on my last run down poulsons. I guess it's officially over! Good thing volcano season hasn't even started.

No shit what a shit show! And in all the throngs in the KT line, the gf and I ended up riding up with maggot McSki.
Got a couple powder runs, some goop and called it quits early due to the humungous clusterfuck that it was.

Gapers for sure, but everyone seemed stoked, including me. Had epic fresh pow in the saddle, light towers, cII. Had a great hike up Emigrant and awsome runs down corkscrew. F-in rad-gnar! Video to come!!

Scored some good pow in The Slot & West Face Alternates before ending the day with a half dozen Red Dog/Poulsen Gully runs. Yeah it got a bit thicker as the day went on, but still ski'd great IMO. KT line emptied out just before Noon too! Skiin' the fatties on May 29, gotta love it!!!!!

Some stellar pow runs at Kwood this AM

Wasn't much of a shit show & snow stayed good as long as you kept moving further out toward the periphery. Maybe 8" over a smooth frozen base.

I think some of you are handling Squaw all wrong. I didnt think the lines were that bad, and headwall was moving pretty quick.

The snow was amazing this morning, managed 3 laps off Headwall before the masses arrived. Hiked to top of Granite from Gold Coast, can't say I've ever done that before. Snow was good up there. Hiked up to top of Red Dog for more fresh in the gully.
