Anyway, now I gotta figure out where this place is... Can you help w/ that?
Oh sorry if I mislead you, that was not my recommendation, it was Yelp's. Can't say I have ever had pizza in Truckee So don't shoot the messenger if it sucks. That being said it is located here:

There is no pizza west of the Mississippi. Just saying. You might find a decent cheese and red sauce on top of baked dough thing, tho. Totally understand not trusting the Yelp app.

Pizza<moon for sure. Took a while for the pov to play on this droid. Sick, and a bit crazy. Makes me for sure to head up that way next week. Well, to a line a bit less redonkulous.

Plenty on good stoke already this season.

Models are pretty much in agreement, big snow event coming this weekend with almost 2 feet+ of snow between Friday and Saturday. If that happens, I bet most resorts will gear up for a Thanksgiving opening.

The other side of the butt crack

seems like the other side of moon couloir is a bit wider at this point. i had to pick up the kids at noon, so i turned around about 2/3 of the way up at 10:30 (and was a 1/2 hour late), but i think it goes all the way.

It did me just fine Unposs. Decent pie to be had there, even got a phone number while eating solo and invite to the "Foam Fest" (big beer festival) for Alpine's adaptive ski program. Thanks for the recommendation, I think I owe you a beer.

TO SUM UP THE CURRENT MODEL PROGS FOR PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS FRIDAY
THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...THE 12Z GFS AND ECMWF BOTH SHOW 2-3 INCHES IN
THE SIERRA WITH ONE HALF TO ONE INCH OUT INTO PORTIONS OF WESTERN
NEVADA. THOSE NUMBERS WOULD IMPLY FEET OF SNOW IN THE SIERRA AND AT
LEAST 5-10 INCHES FOR PORTIONS OF THE WESTERN GREAT BASIN. THIS IS
LIKELY TO CHANGE MUCH BEFORE THE EVENT SO DO NOT TAKE TOO MUCH STOCK
IN THEM YET. HOWEVER...EXPERIENCE HAS SHOWN THAT IF ANYTHING MODELS
TEND TO UNDERDO PRECIP IN COLD UNSTABLE PATTERNS SUCH AS THE ONE FOR
    NEXT WEEKEND.

...and so begins the typical pattern of 5 day stretches of bluebird followed by a dump that commences the minute I get in my car. Not that I'm complaining, or anything...

Now if we can just get OHC (you still lurking around here) over to the islands, we would be guaranteed a huge dump!

Powdorks weather forcast was exactly what I needed to see. Know I can start the annual "tune and drink while cranking Dio " garage session. This usually results in my kids saying , "daddy are you alright?, Whens dinner?"

Derek Zoolander: Why do you hate models, Matilda?
    Matilda: Honestly?
    Hansel: Yes.
Matilda: I think they're vain, stupid, and incredibly self-centered.
Hansel: I totally agree with you. But how do you feel about male models?
