FS: 2011 Specialized Pitch Pro - size L

Finally got the Pitch Pro built up with spare parts I had, and stealing parts from my SS (keeping the Pitch parts new in case I needed to sell it).
Verdict: OMG this thing freaking SHREDS. Love the feel of the bike. Want one bad. It's just a little too long for me, even with putting a 50 mm stem on the bike I had in the parts bin.

I threw on as much random crap from parts bin and other bikes to test it out b/c I wasn't sure about the size. So the frame, crankset, fork, and front derailleur have gone on a 15-minute trail ride. No dings, no nothin. Perfect. The rest is brand new, in the box/plastic - wheels, shifter, bars, stem.

Soooo who wants a screaming deal on a sick rig Pitch Pro (size L)?

    $1500 no brakes
    or
$1700 with used but not abused XT brakes

    Specs:
Rockshox Sektor solo air 150 mm fork w/ 20 mm Maxle Lite
Fox RP2 rear shock with lockout
    X9 rear derailleur
    X5 shifters
    SLX front derailleur
    Pitch wheelset
Specialized stem (70mm), post, saddle, grips
Truvativ GXPII crankset, Truvativ 2-ring chainguide

    Stock photo:

Pic with my ghetto random clashing color build.

I was wondering that. Still a 140mm fork or bigger?

    SOLID DEAL!

Are you going to get smaller one or something different?

It is 150 mm front and rear. The Sektor fork is on the Revelation platform, but with bit more budget build. It's still air, weights 4 lbs including steer tube on the dot (weighed it myself), has compression and rebound... it's a killer fork. I couldn't resist a little shoreline ride on it tonight, the Pitch fugging RIPS. The big size was actually really nice for climbing, but too much on the DH. If it fits you, buy this bike. It's that good. One of the best geos/frames I've ridden in a looong time...

Monkey, I'm definitely going to be looking for a size smaller but probably not until this winter. The only reason I picked this one up so fast was b/c it was such a smoking deal and available immediately.

a 150mm fork on a pitch sounds sweet. I cant wait to replace the pike 327 with something better on mine
i LOVE my pitch. not prefect for XC or DH, but a perfect all mountain bike that does a little bit of everything.

    thats a great price

Nice Particle! Wait until you try one out on something a bit more techy than shoreline. Hope you find one sooner rather than later. Does this mean you are going to be riding your SS at the Ho-Down?

Oh and I basically echo everything that Samurai said, though I've been looking at 160 mm. forks lately. Anyone have a lyric for sale?
