I shot both of those with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens. The last one is at:

    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/500)
    Aperture f/4.0
    Focal Length 80 mm
    ISO Speed 200

I like this lens a lot, but it is an all-around lens and not great in all situations. I like the bokeh produced by the 70-200 2.8 better, but it is a helluva lens to walk around with for any length of time! I'm looking for a new, faster all around lens to buy soon as the f/4 can be a bit limiting in certain situations. May start a thread on that in the coming weeks.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around it.

It doesn't look like a real scene, almost like a tilt-shift situation.
However, it also doesn't have a miniature-esque quality which is very un tilt-shit.

I'm digging it because its screwing with me which makes it very interesting.

Nothing great, but I love these; more so because I took them with my parent's S90, total spur of the moment style.

There is something pure to me when photography just happens, instead of being planned...or something like that

Single's shot reminds me of a "Found Faces" Johnny 5 in snowcat form doing a curious puppy head tilt.

I will go back to breathing diesel exhaust now.
