Wanted: Web designer (preferably with some programming skills)

We've gotten to a point now where we realize that upfront decisions we made on how we thought our site was going to be used haven't been entirely accurate and thus need to redesign a few pages, if not the whole site.

Looking for a web designer, and if you've got some web programming chops to go with it even better. NOT looking for a creative guy who just provides photoshop mockups and can't do the css/html side of things. As we prefer to work with people that we actually like/with similar interests/can converse with throwing the opportunity up to the mags.

You can view our current site at http://www.mobspot.com

The most critical piece in need of a redesign is our consumer startpage (if you register for the site, set your device, and play with the site a bit you'll see what it does). It's not driving the consumer back into the site at levels we'd like to see (and quite frankly it was a page that was cobbled together at the last minute).

Position could grow to something bigger should we like you and your work. Compensation can vary as well, we can do all equity or some mix of $/equity.

We've got a bit of momentum, you can see a few recent articles (all focused on our Facebook app) below:

Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

Oh yeah, we're in Portland, but don't care where you're located as it's 2010. If you're local you get the benefit of the occasional free beer, if you're remove you get the benefit of working in your underwear in the privacy of your own home
