Just say that punching the clown hurts now and you need relief.

Cortisone shot #2, shock wave?, surgery consult?

Mine comes and goes still. One thing I did when it got bad last, 5 electro-acupuncture sessions within one month. Have had pain in just shy of a year now.
And strengthening exercises sure do help.

Appreciate all the input, and going to research some non shot/surgery options. Also going to get serious about rehab and exercising to build strength like I should have first go around. Consult scheduled for Monday.

Have no idea what to compare it to, but he said bring $750 cash and leave the insurance companies out of it. If I can recover from this perpetual elbow torture Iíll be happy with the $ spent, especially if Iím back close to 100% for fall mountain biking.

If nothing is torn, then generally it is an imbalance. Work those extensors.

    Rice bucket time.

Thanks, I was already halfway down the Ozzy man reviews rabbit hole and now Iím on a rice bucket detour.

Also picked up a set of those foam twist bars, and definitely plan to ease into some sort of PT or rehab regimen.

Maybe 20-30 seconds per movement to start. Goal is to work the imbalance slowly. Every other day ish.

As of this morning my Wallet is slightly lighter and my right elbow has about 4ml of platelet rich plasma in it. Going back in 6 weeks to see if it took or not. No anti-inflammatories for 2 weeks and no real restrictions on light duty or rest.

Back to orthopedic on Monday, roughly 6 wks after the PRP injection. There is zero improvement and as much or more pain and same level of restricted mobility as before. Weíll see whatís next but disappointed in outcomes so far.

PRP takes longer, basically you are tricking the body into repair work/ injury site for your problem so the body will use its own stem cells to fix that area. For my knee it was closer to 4-5 months before i noticed improvement which got better as time went on.

Full on stem cell injection is quicker but also add a zero on the end of the price.

Older also generally means heal slower.
    watch out for snakes
