Trailer comes off as overly dramatic, slightly douchey. Obviously that will help it sell. He should really just put out more deep trees, cliffing, and pillows a la Believe.

I sure do wish he would shut the fuck up and ski. Maybe he should invest in a mouth guard and leave it in. Drama!

Don't get me wrong his skiing is awesome to watch.

As much as I don't want to watch or listen to TH, I'm going to watch this video. Oh the things I do to get myself through off-seasons.

Name a "legend" that started a ski company? He's at least got that going for him. Seriously though, Tanner Hall is so old in the park skiing world that he's nearly prehistoric. And he's died at least 3 times.

Should have waited to make this film until he is "retired" from filming and competing, could have captured the recovery and see how he progresses in big mountain since I doubt he will compete in pipe or slopestyle as he is too far behind now (but you never know). I agree, should have just produced another "Believe" that is an awesome ski flick, better than The Massive.

I agree that this seems premature. You don't release a film documenting the career of a skier who is likely to be still in his prime (past it in the park maybe). There is so much more that could come from Tanner in the next few years.

nope. with you on that one.

but in reference to him being too young...kinda of the trend (as far as trends go in the skiing industry) to do these young. the seth morrison chronicles only really caught the first 1/3 of his big mountain career.

We've won it. It's going to get better now. You can sort of tell these things.

Probably not a bad plan to get the film in the can while he's still alive, seeing how many other legends have been snuffed lately

Tanner's contribution to the progress of skiing is on par with that of anyone else to date. But haters love to hate, what can you do.

I don't enjoy watching park skiing much, but I'll happily watch Tanner ski anywhere else. Listening to him talk, however, is just embarrassing. Watching Tanner's "lifestyle" segments are even worse. Even in the best ski films you don't get much profundity, but you do genuine sentiment, and humor. Tanner inhabits the opposite end of the ski film spectrum. I expect a bit of mindless bro brah posing in ski films, but Tanner takes it to a witless, humorless, juvenile low to which no one else, thankfully, is capable of descending. Tanner make Tom Wallisch look like Lou Dawson.

Portraying him as some sort of mythological philosopher is just too much. Give me a fucking break, he's a talented skier, not a fucking poet. That's it.

    Awesome!

He's a good skier. He's probably even read this thread already, which at least means he cares about what people think. I've seen the dude respond to threads on newschoolers.

The video will be fun to watch and that's all that really matters.
