JHMR lowers season pass prices and announces other news

Like it or not, they make their nut in December and it sets a precedent for the rest of the season.

There is the possibility that this will allow access to the upper mountain earlier than sometimes possible. Sometimes the issue is getting off from Thunder on a bad early season, thus pinning us to AV. This can help get the gondi open earlier, which would be a good thing as well.

Shit $1255 is roughly what I paid for my pass my last season in Jackson in 1996/97.

Honey, put the house on the market, pack up the house, and tell the kids we are moving back to Jackson
why make ten turns when you only need to make NONE!

that photo has made some serious rounds for JH.

I'm psyched they're adding more snowmaking. with our season so short as it is hopefully we'll be able to ski more of the mountain a bit earlier instead of the whole town of Jackson being on AV.

Nobody mentioned the weekend warrior pass...
but that went up $5 and I'M PISSED!

That really blows. Yes, you can get a cheap pass now for your kids if you dont ski.

But if you ski, your kids are no longer free. Awesome

But it is nice to see the full pass more affordable.

    $1015 for 20 days
$1255 for 128 days? that is messed up math.

I love the price drop, I really wanna know what my discount will be as village emp for the Alpenhof. With the way the economy is, this makes sense. Don't be greedy find a way to make a profit by getting more passholders.

Only $1,255?! Jeeves! Get my lawyer on the line, I must have one. You can fetch him with the Rolls.

Shit, even Big Sky, with just as short a season, few people, and well, not quite as much snow, but no one to share it with had an $800 pre-sale or something. As an added bonus: No Cheney in jeans.

Would the snowmaking be for the Stash Parks (which are ghey)?
    No longer stuck.

Seems like everybody in the Hole either can already afford it or gets one from work. Hard to see how a mountain that crowded with locals could actually sell more passes so its cool they throw skiers a bone during tough times(especially since nobody really got their money's worth out of last season's pass.) Now, I can see how more snowmaking could definitely lower the early season crowd over at the Ghee. I guess last christmas it was too embarrassing having dozens of Village instructors bringing their classes over the pass to find some rock free snow.

$1540 in August, which will be the same as the high price of the pass, i think.
