    Netflix: instaView rec's

They have plenty of good movies that are popping up lately...

180 Degrees South - really fucking great surf and mountaineering in patagonia.
To the Limit - Huber Bros killing it documentary... not a tribute to Strongbad.
    Bullitt - fuck yes.
TiMER - pretty enjoyable indie comedy (chicks will like too)
The Iron Giant - my kids LOVE this flick... so did I.
    Syriana - good political thriller.
    Sin Nombre
Seraphine - kinda wacky but I liked it.
When You're Strange - loads of original doors footage, good stuff
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - Very good German mystery.
The Messenger - damn woody gets serious.
    It Might Get Loud
Elegy - Penelope Cruise is teh hotz.
Spartacus: Blood and Sand - soooo much boobie.
    This American Life: Season 1 & 2
Daniel Tosh: Completely Serious --- he's funny and mean.
Gunnin' for That #1 Spot - HS basketball doc.
North Face - Good german flick about the Eiger.

Shit you've probably already seen - still fun to rewatch.
    Full Metal Jacket
    Ken Burns the War
Disctrict 9 - held up on the 2nd viewing.
The Big Lebowski - see it for the 40th time.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Agreed. Watched both seasons, it holds up well throughout... and Ronald Donald has a huge cock... what more needs to be said?

Ink - If you can get over the super low budget special effects, and the initial wierdness of the movie, its a great flick.

the movies that are available for instant view seem to be constantly rotating though, so some of these might not be available now.
Perhaps you'd be more comfortable on epicski or Paula's Ski Lovers, AltaNancy.

I'll have to check out my ratings later, but "Tell No One" is a must-watch for any film noir fan. It's French and a very engaging tale that's a pleasure to watch unfold. Michael Caine is quoted as saying it was his favorite film of 2007 and I have to agree. I think it clocks in around 2.5 hours but it moves quite swiftly.

The State just popped up. Probably the last good thing to come out of MTV.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Kinda hokey in spots, but a true story, and very inspirational.

Also, if you're looking for a good* sci-fi show - Stargate: Universe was actually pretty watchable. I've not watched any of the other stargate series - they always looked pretty horrible, but a buddy said this one was very different and solid.

*Some of it is cringe-worthy but the overall show is not bad.
