I guess it came out in September but I only heard of it a few days ago. REALLY enjoyed Maniac. Cerebral, weird if you're into that kind of thing.

Oh brother, sorry for your loss of said knuckle. I can't fathom the pain. Valid point on the 13/18 back and forth.

I decided it was worth a re-watch since there was so much going on and probably a lot that I missed the first time through. About halfway through and I've been liking it even more so far.

Decent but not great. End of the world movies are always disappointing when no one seems all that stressed about what is going on and their makeup stays perfect the whole time. Sandra Bullock looks like a wax figure now.

Agreed, although the final episode seemed rushed. I'd have been ok with less loose end tying.

There's another Maniac on Netflex from Norway, and it's worth watching.

Just watched Nanette by Hannah Gadsby. That was pretty intense.

Bird Box is pretty dumb, but it passed the time I guess.

Not a fan of Bird Box.

Just like Bright last year, rather than putting some effort into the story, they cast some heavy hitters, hyped the fuck out of it, and let social media push views.

Her makeup ruined the authenticity for me.

I've been watching 'You'. Entertaining, wish it was a little edgier.

Yeah, my takeaway was that the old-schoolers are sick of being “outlaws” and the young/new to Humbolt types just want to cash in without any concern for the place.

Binged a bunch of “You” episodes today. Really like it. Definitely worth the watch.

The Kominski Method is good too. 7 or 8 episodes into that. Another series with the time.

Got around to watching bandersnatch. Pretty cool idea, and fairly well executed. I was entirely entertained.

    **** spoilers. *****

The "Netflix" line of choices / endings was kind of hilarious.

    Anyone seen MOWGLI?

    Netflix: instaView rec's

It’s worth a watch. Not really what I expected, I was kind of bracing for disaster and was pleasantly surprised.

Most of the way through murder mountain. Really struggling to give two shits about any of the characters. The good guys are skeezy fuckers, the bad guys are even worse, and the cops are douchebags. The private investigators are ok, I guess.
