Primary Objective of Position

The Site Content Manager will insure all products and Suppliers are setup properly for the bwconnect shopping site. Setup of product will consist of image setup, assigning products to categories and attributes and insuring all product descriptions are in a standard format. Supplier set up consists of proper set up of landing pages, payment terms, and their listings on the site.

Knowledge and Skill Required
• Experience in business-to-business marketing and e-commerce merchandising.
• Proven experience in problem solving by improving processes and learning from what does and doesn’t work.
• Experience with HTML.
• Experience with web publishing tools, plus the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Experience with Photoshop, and image manipulation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to write particularly descriptive copy.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Setup all products on the site to include assigning products to the appropriate categories and attributes.
• Work with Director of Merchandising to build and manage product taxonomy.
• Work with vendors to setup cross-selling products and product stories.
• Work with Director of Merchandising to plan, develop and execute site content on home pages, category pages and landing pages across the site.
• Work with Director of Merchandising to manage related and recommended product data.
• Help drive the challenge of merchandising products that require accurate, detailed information to gain customer trust.
• Stays on top of trends in the industry.
