I wish someone made a ski that behaved like both EHP and EP pro and everythin in between.

Hmm, speaking of, I'd wish for a PMGear carbon BRO 17x, possibly with a slightly elongated shovel. Light weight + 32m radius for the icy steeps, would be a ski mountaineering machine.

A Mothership that weighs 5.5 pounds per pair but sacrifices nothing in rigidity or crud busting ability.

Skis with an anti gravity device. It would make touring a lot easier, plus those extra large hucks.

...but your kids (and their kids) would have to pay for them? And more than half of us would half to buy them even if we all agreed the sucked ass - because someone else decided that was the only ski they were going to let us use?

    Yeah...go for it...

My dream skis from days of yore:
    204 K2 KV Comp with a 100mm waist
    200cm Atomic Powder Plus
193 Head Monster Cross w/ Full Metal Jacket
193 Atomic Big Daddy w/ flat mounting platform (which they eventually made...)

Dream skis of today (or tomorrow?):
190 Atomic Big Daddy (125 waist version) w/ flat camber
193 Blizzard Titan Pro 1cm wider throughout (105 waist)
190 Volkl Explosiv back from the dead. Somebody had to say it.

Here's to living in the past, eh?

A 100 waisted explosive/b-squad like ski that weighs less than my wailers (1400g) but skis like the 194 squats. Touring and power. Yay!

what I really want are some dream boots, but I already started a thread about that.....

soft-flexing powder skis for the tinies. My 6yo loves the woods and is rocking her 99mm-snowblades-turned-powder-ride, but would have so much more fun on a ski her size that actually flexed.

A 08/09 obsethed thats 125 underfoot with the same flex and rocker profile. That would be a sick quiver of one.

the funny thing is aside from all the anti-gravity and unrealistic joking, all these skis can be made via custom process.

You could talk any one of the custom shops into making what you want, so its not that they don't exist its that you cant afford them.

I made a 186 120 version, no prepreg carbon, glass ski that I love. Little soft however.

I think most people realised that the title of the thread wasn't "custom skis you would build cause you could afford it"

If a ski "exists" it will show up on sale the year after, when I can afford it...
