“It’s a Sin” on HBO is good. 5 episodes, very intense. My wife worked AIDS hospice as a young nurse back in the early 90’s; really hit home for her. A tear jerker for sure, but so well done.

Can't Get You Out of My Head:
Interesting 6 episode documentary series I've been watching on YouTube -
From wikipedia:
Explores and links together various topics such as individualism, collectivism, conspiracy theories, national myths, American imperialism, the history of China, artificial intelligence, and the failure of technology to liberate society in the way that technological utopians once hoped it might.
Inspired by the rise of populism in 2016. Curtis wanted to investigate why the critics of Donald Trump and Brexit were unable to offer an alternative vision for the future, and why these sociopolitical circumstances were being continued beyond ethical breaking points.

Nope; not gonna give it the time of day. Having lived through it, I refuse to to do anything more than condemn it, consigning it to the depths of Hell.

Checking out Reckoning on Netflix. Up to episode 4 and it’s pretty good so far.
Sent from my iPad using TGR ForumsIt makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

May be late to the party, but I'm finally watching Letterkenny on hulu. Holy shit, funny as fuck. It's a Canadian version of Clerks. Non-fucking-stop.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

If you're into anime i'd recommend Hunter x Hunter on netflix, or Jujutsu kaisen which is free online. The latter won anime of the year

My wife and I are one season into Last Man On Earth, a comedy about the few survivors of a post-pandemic apocalypse (this series completed its final season a year or so before Covid arrived). A fun mix of better than most sit-com humor, and stuff that's seriously off the wall.

Peter Farrelly created and produced series Loudermilk gets a second wind on Prime:

This series sounds intriguing, even if it mines some familiar tropes...

Watching "Farrow vs. Allen" on HBO and it made me mildly angry that Woody Allen still has a career. That creep groomed and slept with teenagers, married his fucking step daughter and molested his other daughter BUT he is still regarded as one of the best directors today and never had charges pressed against him. Never seen a Woody Allen movie and I just don't get it; he's a fucking creep.
Anyway, interesting mini-series that proves what you can get away with when you're rich and famous.

continuing to work our way through Apple TV.
Cherry - depressing as shit. left 1/2 way through
Servant - has some believability gaps, but if you can look past that pretty suspenseful."Can't you see..."

I’m enjoying Resident Alien.
Nice shots of Telluride.

Dark, and not to everyone's taste but lingers long and bitter.
Tom Holland is superb.

2 episodes into Beartown on HBO max. Swedish Friday Night Lights but with hockey and subtitles and much, much darker because it's Swedish. We like it.

Powered through “The One” and “The Gift.” Both are worth a watch, if you’re bored. “The Gift” is the better of the two, but don’t expect a masterpiece.

“Black Bear” is brilliant. Wow. Aubrey absolutely nails it. A mix of “Mulholland Drive” and “Players”, with a bit of twilight zone sprinkled on top. A slow burner for sure, but damn is it well crafted. Pay close attention, there’s a lot going on.
