Wife and I finished watching the first season of Teenage Bounty Hunters on Netflix. Funnier and more interesting than I would have expected. Kinda beach-read material but it had some surprisingly touching moments and the character development is better than expected. It might be because I went to Catholic school through 8th grade or that I'm currently raising two girls who seem to be racing towards their teenage years, but I was thoroughly entertained.

I’ve been binging on 3% on Netflix. Brazilian distopia where 3% of the ghetto dwelling 20yr olds get a chance to live on paradise island for life. Obviously, this creates dissent in the ghetto.

Good looking cast. Very well dubbed. Just wish there was more nudity.

If you like young adult angst in a desolate future, check it out. 4 seasons.

DANGER 5 just popped back up on Prime.
This Australian series is a wonderful blast of ribald camp drawing inspiration from Beach Party films, daikaiju, Sid & Marty Krofft, Thunderbirds Are Go!, Get Smart, and much more.
Tons of running gags, cheesy FX, low budget stop motion animation, and innuendo and raunch galore.

    Curse you high expects!!!!!

Cheap, light weight, silly ....... can't help but compare it to Watchmen, and LC fails horribly.

    Yes it's horribly bad horror.

Enjoyed watching “Get Shorty” the series (not the film) on Netflix. Season 1 is free. Seasons 2 and 3 are available with a trial subscription to EPIX.

Raised by Wolves on HBO Max is pretty awesome so far. I’m 2 episodes in.

Ridley Scott. Kind of a Prometheus mixed with Dr Manhattan vibe.

How did you sign up for HBOMax? I've got Xfinity and am supposed to get HBOMax for free but had to go to the HBO web sight and things deteriorated rapidly. If it's free on Xfinity, I shouldn't have to do a damn thing to watch it!

Looking for new series to watch

I have HBO so had to add the app to my smart TV and it worked.

    It wouldn’t work through xfinity

Definitely not new, but currently I am watching Rake. It is the story of a drugged up wild but brilliant Australian criminal defense barrister, his life and cases. Hilarious as fack. If you have an already seen it, it is definitely worth a shot

<red face>. Turns out I failed to do the final step ..... Got it now.

Damn, the first episode of RBW was excellent - enough plot development to make a movie by itself.

    Homecoming Season 2 (Prime)
Vastly different than the first season, both in structure and ambiance.
I honestly put off watching it as I felt they really didn't need to do a second season since the first was so strange and ended rather nicely.
But S2 is solid, a bit more mainstream in terms of the storytelling, but engaging and just enough off-kilter to keep your interest.

    The Fall (Prime)
S1 (6 eps) is great, if you can get past Gillian Anderson's weak Loneon accent.
S2 and the first 2/3 of S3 falter, but the final episode is powerful and the ending of the series is solid, leaving room for quite a bit of interpretation on the part of the viewer.

    She grew up in London.

    Her accent is just fine.

Just finished episode 5. Enjoying the premise despite the slow pace. Being a Scott fan helps. Really hoping they flesh out the ecology backstory of the planet properly.

Long Way Up on Apple TV is pretty good.

Ewen McGregor and a buddy drive electric motorcycles from tip of South America to LA.

There are also 2 prototype Rivians along for the ride. Pretty cool.
