Yep, fucking awesome show. From my post in the Netflix thread:

"Sense8" looked dull and contrived to me; five episodes in, and holy shit was I wrong. Slow pacing, for sure, but there is a hell of a lot going on, and the character development goes so much deeper than it appears. So well written and acted. Highly recommended.

The Jinx on HBO. Can't say much without spoiling, but it gets pretty bizarre. What a whack job. Worth watching the whole series, though.

    House of Cards is back.

Started watching The Leftovers due to boredom, kind of slow but 5 episodes in I'm still watching.

Late to it, but loved Season 1 of Animal Kingdom.

    On to Season 2

It's been on hulu a while, but The Thick of It is perhaps the best/funniest British show I've ever seen. Peter Capaldi as Malcolm Tucker is brilliant, the writing is just stupendous. Worth watching over and over.

    Just started season 3-WOW!!!
Usually shows aren't as good after a couple of seasons. I thought this show was over after season 1, but it is pretty darn good now. The strange thing is I don't know many people who are watching it.

ORPHAN BLACK (seasons 1 - 4 on Amazon Prime)
Recently binged the hell out of this.
    Season 1 is solid.
    Season 2 is pretty solid
    Season 3 starts to derail
The first half of Season 4 is still derailed, but comes back with a vengeance the last few episodes.
Cool, snarky sci-fi (reminded me a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I wasn't terribly fond of, fwiw).
Season 5 just started, but only one episode and you gotta pay for it. Will wait for the entire season (the final one, btw) to watch.

    FORTITUDE
if you dig arctic horror a la John Carpenter's The Thing, then this might be up your alley.
    Only 2 seasons.
    Season 1 is nuts.
Season 2 is a bit off-the-rails, but still solid.

    MAD DOGS
only 1 season, but it's solid.
imagine The BIg Chill, but on meth, crank, uppers, and tons of alcohol. oh, and with a mega dose of the old ultra-violence.

Yeah I really liked this show. Think I saw the first 2 seasons as that's what was free at the time. Somewhat campy at times but very entertaining.

Marco was a cool guy and the O'Bannon girl was a good person, although trailer trash.

We just finished watching the series last night (13 Reasons Why). Very heavy material. Not exactly the feel good show of the year as expected, but I found it to be very well done and quite compelling. I have a three year old daughter and it's depressing to think about what she'll be facing in another ten years or so.

My wife didn't think she would want to watch it because of the premise, but she watched the whole thing with me.

Yeah, I know I'm behind the times, but just discovered True Detective. First season was great. Haven't started season two yet.

Nice to be able to get HBO without a cable subscription now.
