Stolen from the entrance way at my house during college, I think some kids scoped it out during a kegger and either came back for it or jacked it as the party was going on.
After that all our gear for outdoor fun was put in a bedroom and locked when we had partiesCarry on my wayward son...

Mine was stolen out of a closed garage, but was an inside job, my baby-sitters boyfriend stole it when I was ~12. Cops called and plenty of evidence but never got it back and he wasn't ever charged with anything.

I let a "friend" borrow a bike. When asked about returning it, he never had a good answer. I heard from other friends that someone jacked it from him/possibly threw it in a pond.
He also owed my folks some money they lent him to sign up for something or other (hockey leauge IIRC) when a deadline was quickly approaching.
I ended up getting into a fist fight with him over these two issues one day in HS study hall.
I eventually got the bike back, pretty much trashed, looked like it could've been in a pond. Don't think he ever repaid the cash (~$75).

Plenty of sad stories - mine was stolen from my storge locker. How many ever got their bikes back? I was lucky enough to wrestle my bike away from the thiefing bastard 6 months later on the street in chicago. That prick knew my adrenaline was through the roof.

there's always an argument with the girl about bringing in bikes to the hotel or leaving them locked outside. looks like I will still be bringing them inside, no matter how much 'god damn room they take'.
and i just added a lock to our bike shed today...

I got to answer yes to all of them!
Do I still get a prize if two of the instances were with the same bike?

i had my bike lock cut off a rack. On campus (chico state), during the middle of the day, right in front of my class, in a heavy traffic area... it was bullshit, worst walk home ever, actually worst walk to the police station
