Option to turn political asshattery off
Hey -
Is there some way to include a functionality that just blocks political asshattery when you click "view new posts?" I think I've used another forum (not skiing related) where the stupid retard political forum was password-protected, the password was publicly posted, but if you didn't enter the password, it wouldn't turn up on "view new posts."
Honestly, I think that forum really detracts from the user experience. I doubt that I'm the only one who would prefer not to scroll through that garbage when I'm trying to find porn or ski stoke or whatever.

they could just make it "adult content" like the padded room.
You don't need a password, you just have to click enter and have your computer cookies remember you want to see that subforum.
I missed a lot of padded room content after they started that before I finally signed off as an "adult"
Polly ass is not for the kids anyways.. . .

CS, that's a good idea, and it would probably accomplish my goal of not having to wade through people parroting cable news stupidity in order to find a TR or some sexy pictures.

I've got a better idea...how about a function that turns off your face when you walk down the sidewalk....that way, people walking opposite you don't have to look at your dweebish face as they pass by?
Seriously, I don't think I've EVER hit the "New Posts" icon. I just go to whatever room I'm interested in and click on it. Is that TOO hard???

For many of us, that is the only button we use. I only tend to go to a certain forum when I am looking for something in particular. The new posts button gives you everything you missed from every forum chronologically. It is the most useful way to view the entire breadth of the forums, IMHO.
