I'll be heading out either Thursday night, or most likely Friday morning from the Front Range. Room for 1-3 riders, bikes and gear. I plan to stop in Fruita for a couple of easy loops. Hope to be in Moab by 4-5pm Fri. PM if you're interested in carpooling.

I will be driving down from Logan Friday Morning, will be in SLC around 10AM. Have room for like 2 people + bikes + gear.

Should be good, unless I suck at math! Shuttle is now full.

For anyone else. If you want to camp with us that's fine, but you would need to figure out your own shuttle.

Just as an aside, for those of you who have not done this ride, a few suggestions:

Expect it to take 5-7 hours. Pack appropriate amounts of food, water and beer.

It will be cold at the top in the morning, and hot at the bottom, bring appropriate attire, and sunblock.

PLEASE, EVERYONE, BRING AT LEAST TWO EXTRA TUBES!!!!111
Whether your running tubes or not. This trail eats tubes and tires, and last year the sweepers at the back (me and JohngC) ran out of tubes for people who had multiple punctures.

If you're running tubeless it's a good idea to top off your sealant of choice.

Tune up your bike/ top off your sealant before you come, doing it in the cold, dark and sand the night before when you should be socializing and sleeping sucks.

Make some kick ass enchiladas, and come with a really positive attitude ready to enjoy fall at it's fullest, greet the winter around the corner, and put up with a bunch of wild Utards and drunk Coloradans.

Not much else is necessary, except for excess hydration, and limiting any bitching of any sort to zero.

Not that hard, huh? Oh yeah, don't forget the kick ass enchi's. Pre-make, then grab a couple aluminum tubs for a double-boiler setup. Make for easy re-heat. Also, we always have the newbs make a kick ass dessert. So come prepared.

And will the dragsheep show up? Who knows???

hey there. so we finally have a quasi plan going. We have a group of 5 scheduled on the Moab Cyclery shuttle for 8:30am on Sat morning so we'll see you kids up there to start the ride!!
Still not sure where we're camping yet as Andrew's friends are leaning towards Oowah but it's sooo far away so we're really pushing for one of the areas closer to town.
Andrew and i will be rolling in on Thursday mid day and would love to ride that afternoon- sam can you pls send me your digits so we can rendezvous?
And as far as Margs go- I'm infusing a handle of tequila spicy margs so as long as we're camping close to town I plan to bring those along Saturday night to this enchilada party.
They're potent and have blacked out more than a few of my friends bwahaha- perfect for camping in the desert after a great ride!
we're also bringing our bike lights along so anyone else that has 'em and wants to possibly do a little night riding should bring them too. I usually drink too much too early though to ride later
can't wait- I'm so looking fwd to this and meeting some of you!!

Courtney, you guys should camp with us, there should be plenty of room. We can have up to 40 people at the site according to the website. It's super convenient, right at the bottom of the trail. And then we can drink all your margaritas

I'll be going down thurs night and planning on riding slickrock for novelty on friday. I'll be with someone who's never ridden it.

Just finished up with a pan of salmon/goat cheese/yam/blue potato enchiladas with chipotle mole and another pan of salmon/yam/blue potato enchiladas with creamy cilantro pesto. I got a little carried away and couldn't decide which to make so I made both; consequently, I made way too much. I feel like I've been cooking for days.

I guess this makes up for not bringing any enchiladas last year.
