    Lynyrd Skynard, Video

    Ok, so this weekend the little lady and were stuck in traffic and I threw in some Skynard. Ms Sagamoron was enthralled, she only knew freebird slightly and loved the rest. I was telling her about a Live Concert that VH1 or CMT used to show back in the day. It was southern rock at its finest, an outside concert sometime in the summer in the middle of the day 1970's original lineup. Must have been at a football stadium or similar. And the one thing I remember was the bass player was wearing one of those English Bobby Hats. The whole thing was amazing, and I want to try find a copy of it for our Concert DVD Collection.

    Anyone have a clue what I am talking about?

    Synyrd at Knebworth, England 1976 is the one with the hat.

    Day on the Green in Oakland is pretty common too.

    That's funny. My girl is a hip hop/r&b type, but she loves her some Skynyrd! Chicks just dig 'em.

    Anyone remember the short film about the plane crash they used to show before movies at the theater? They played it before Star Wars which ran at the theater down the street when I was a kid. Star Wars stayed there for like a year and a half. I must have seen that short film 20 times. Awesome long live version if FB at the end.
