What is the stiffest, burliest, baddest ski ever?

    What's your opinion?

I have never skied anything that really feels like a tank. What would you recommend me if I want to add some to my quiver.

Actually, I'd like to have something really killer.

I bought a pair of Bro Blems from Splat, 188 stiffs. I could do nothing with them. I sold them here then observed that same pair sell 3 more times. I think they were really XXX-stiff FrankenBros or something.

I've seen some Blizzard Kreitlers (probably not stock) that are tanks. But the Squads are pretty nasty.

The stiffest, most difficult ones I've ever skied were 200cm Igneous FFFs, 265 flex. I couldn't turn them.

In comparison, Squads and Head m103s are much more usable. And they're stiffer than anything I want to ski regularly.

    Some in gear swap now:
[ame="http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192428"]Sack up and get some real skis. 200cm Iggy FFFs FS - Teton Gravity Research Forums[/ame]

118ish in the waist, traditional tip, camber, sidecut. A big big plank.

There is no "kick" to the tail on them -- the tail bar lays flat on the snow -- so the running length on them is quite long.

yeah, they were pretty stiff but they railed like freight trains! I do wonder how they stacked up compared to other 'stiffs' as they were the only pair of bro's I had the pleasure of skiing. How stiff should the 'stiffs' be?

The stiffest, heaviest skis I've ever owned (still have 'em) are a pair of orange screamin' eagle m103's. However, I don't think they're all that demanding. They like to go fast for sure, but gapers can go fast too.

Actually, most race skis from the 80's and 90's were stiffer.
